Private Pay and Out-of-Pocket Rates
If you do not have insurance or prefer not to use it, I offer straightforward private pay rates. Using private pay ensures your records remain entirely between you and your therapist, with no requirement for a formal diagnosis to be shared with an insurance company.
-
Standard Session: $100 per hour
-
Initial Consultation: Free (15 minutes)

Other Expected Costs
Transparency is important to avoid surprises during your treatment. Beyond the standard session fee, you should consider the following:
-
Copayments and Deductibles: If you use insurance, you may be responsible for a copayment (often $20–$50) or the full session fee until you meet your annual deductible.
-
Late Cancellation Fees: I require 24-hour notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less notice typically incur a late fee, as that time was reserved exclusively for you.
-
Specialized Intensive Programs: Structured programs, such as relationship renewals or trauma healing intensives, may have different flat-rate pricing based on their duration and materials.
-
Record Requests: Fees may apply for the preparation and delivery of clinical records or official documentation, as permitted by state law.

Next Steps for Billing
I recommend calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card before our first session. Ask about your "outpatient behavioral health benefits" to confirm your specific coverage and any out-of-pocket costs you might expect.
